| Autumn Strawberry
This piece has been through a lot, and it shows. It was buried deep in the coals of the bonfire, where character and beauty are forged. The metalic copper strawberry leaf was heated to the point of shimmering, then suddenly buried in coffe grounds. As the coffee slowly burned away, rich black areas of carbon build up formed. The single leaf fossil subtly peeks out of one of these black patches. 6.5 inches tall by 5 inches wide. |
