Maple Leaves on Snow
This small box expresses the essence of what I put into my work. It combines a simple, elegant form and elements of the Pacific Northwest environment with the effects produced by the searing heat of a bonfire. The copper highlighted maple leaves show a wonderful variation in subtle reds, oranges and blacks. Carbon has embedded in the crackle pattern of the bright white base.
